I’ve been working away like a busy little bee.

Although bees I’m sure are much more practiced and polished about their process 😉

Check this out.

I started a website. I chose a theme. I played around. I got super confused.

I paused…I journaled…I took several deep breaths…and told myself,

“You’re just learning, it’s OK to be NEW at something.”

I returned. I chose a new theme. I played around some more. I watched tutorials.

I accidentally deleted pages – eek.

I paused again…

I chose a theme. Decided to stick with it. Watched a couple more tutorials. Learned from my previous mistakes and now I am seconds away from publishing this site – – for REAL!

It will still be a work in progress, but I decided that PROGRESS is exactly what I will be focusing on – – NOT perfection.

Whoever coined the phrase,

“Practice makes perfect.”

clearly didn’t know much about human nature and mental health! [insert eye roll here]

So, instead, my mantra will be PRACTICE MAKES PROGRESS.

Little steps – even the ones that send me backwards – are all part of the process of progress.

Oooh, I like that too.

Now here I am getting carried away on my second blog post.

Welp, that’s just fine because it gives you the opportunity to have another sneak peak into this beautiful brain of mine.

Now this busy little bee is going to take another pause to peel my eyes away from this computer screen…

that is AFTER I hit the PUBLISH button 😉
