I am a licensed EL and Spanish language teacher. Most of my career has been spent teaching multi-lingual learners in middle school. While I’ve also tutored and subbed in many High School and even college classrooms, this year I’ll be popping into the Elementary world! Regardless of where I’m teaching, I adore creating resources that fit my students’ needs. Therefore, this has been a constant in my 10+ years of experience.

More recently I’ve come to realize how much taking care of myself is vital to my role as an educator. This means that on this blog you’ll find a combination of these two worlds – education and mental health – and everything in between!

Mostly, I just love connecting with people, finding ways to support them, and learning more about myself and the world around me in the process! Click the “About Me” to learn more.

Here you can get a closer look at the resources I create for the classroom. I focus on creating content that gets students thinking deeply while also being clear and straightforward (for both teacher and student). In these materials, student voice is centered and movement is encouraged!
